Indian artist Manjari Sharma has created these beautiful and elaborate photographs depicting popular Indian Gods and Goddesses from Hindu mythology. While the imagery is ever present in Indian culture, never has anyone attempted to bring to life the drawings and paintings of such worshiped figures. 35 craftsmen in India built sets, props, prosthetics, costumes and jewellery to visualise each scene. The project is called Darshun (a sanskrit word that means vision or view) and is currently being exhibited in New York at the Clamp Art Gallery.
